Lovely, clean room! The owners are incredibly nice people, mom & pop motels like this are getting harder & harder to find I had to stay due to my baby sister being in the Mayo clinic for over a week & staying here made a very stressful week all the more easier. If your looking for all the added amenities that come with a hotel stay, or like all the "extras" you may want to stay somewhere else. But if you need a nice, quiet, clean room at an amazing price THIS is your place.
At this price point, you usually get much worse accommodations. It is not fancy, and the bathrooms are somewhat outdated, but the property and the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the beds are decent. The owner is nearly always around and takes great care to make sure the guests have what they need.
The rooms are beautiful and clean. Everything worked. I really enjoyed my stay and even had a hot bath to relax after a long day of traveling.
Great value for the price. Large room with all the basics. Basic amenities were upgrades from the usual budget motel expectations. Front desk was polite and helpful. Parking is a little tight, and the breakfast was light on items. This is my favorite value option in the area.
The Rochester Inn is a cozy feeling inn. The rooms were sparkling clean with no odors. The hotel has very nice pieces of furniture and it is well kept on the inside and outside. The outside has patio tables on the lawn areas and nice appealing decorations. It is pet friendly. Parking is ample. It is 2 miles away from the Mayo clinic. Simple continental breakfast which could use slight improvement, otherwise, it was just right. TV basics only. Close to many restaurants. Overall, I enjoyed the stay and would book here again if in the area.
For one of the no tell motel's it is well kept and you can see that the owners have put a lot of work in improving the motel. As a woman i feel safe being there. My only issue is that i meed handicap accessibility especially when im in Rochester by myself. I cant get my electric scooter into the room. Other than that i love staying at the Rochester inn.
I Was worried about checking into a small motel because you never know what you will get. I found a very clean room,and friendly front desk. I was more than surprised.
My room was very clean, easy to access, and fairly quiet for being on such a busy street. Things are a bit dated (matresses & some fixtures), but well cared for. Love the outdoor area with the grills. Nicest lady checked me in. Price was fair for a motel in the area.
